Google Ads & Meta Ads · New Zealand

New customers, on demand.

SEO earns your place. Ads buy the next customer while it’s earning. We run Google and Meta campaigns for NZ small businesses with a management fee you know before you start, results you can read, and no minimum-spend nonsense.

  • You own the ad account
  • Plain-English monthly report
  • Month to month after three

Which one do you need?

Two very different tools. Most businesses should start with one.

Google Ads

People searching for you right now

Someone types “emergency electrician Hamilton” at 9pm. Google Ads puts you at the top of that result, and you only pay when they click.

  • Trades and urgent services
  • Clinics, dentists, physios
  • Lawyers, accountants, advisers
  • Online stores (Shopping ads)
  • Anything people already search for

Meta Ads

People who don’t know they need you yet

Facebook and Instagram let you put your business in front of the right people in the right suburbs, with photos and video, before they ever search.

  • Cafés, restaurants, venues
  • Retail brands and products with a story
  • Events, courses, memberships
  • Accommodation and tourism
  • Anything that sells on sight

What ads cost in NZ

The numbers, so you can do the maths before you call.

NZ agencies typically charge $500–$2,500 a month or 10–20% of spend to manage Google Ads (Lucid Media NZ pricing guide, 2026). Our management fee is a flat monthly amount agreed in writing, and we’ll tell you upfront whether your market is worth buying into.

How we run ads

Rules we don’t break.

  • No wasted towns. Campaigns target where you actually work, down to the suburb. No paying for clicks from Sydney.
  • The landing page matters more than the ad. We fix or build the page people land on first. Ads into a slow homepage is money on fire.
  • Track everything that counts. Calls, forms, bookings, sales: all wired up before a dollar is spent, so the report shows enquiries, not impressions.
  • Weekly hands-on. Negative keywords, bids, audiences, creative. Every week, by a person, not just an algorithm on autopilot.
  • Your account, your data. We work inside an account you own. Leave any time, keep everything.
  • Honest about fit. Some markets cost more per click than the job is worth. If that’s you, we’ll say so and point you at SEO instead.

Straight answers

Ads questions, answered before you spend.

How much should I spend on ads?

Most of our small business clients spend between $1,000 and $4,000 a month on the ads themselves, plus our fee. We’ll recommend a starting budget based on what a click costs in your industry and town, and we’ll tell you if we think ads aren’t the right move yet.

Google Ads or Meta Ads: which one?

If people already search for what you do when they need it (a plumber, a dentist, a lawyer, a part), start with Google. If your customers don’t know they want you yet (a new café, an event, a course, a product with a story), start with Meta. Plenty of businesses end up with both; almost nobody should start with both.

What does your fee cover?

Strategy, keyword and audience research, writing the ads, building or fixing the landing pages, weekly optimisation, conversion tracking and a monthly report in plain English. The fee is a flat monthly amount agreed in writing before the first campaign goes live.

Do I own the ad account?

Yes. The account, the data and the history are yours. If you leave, you keep everything we built; you just stop paying us.

How fast will I see results?

Google Ads can produce enquiries in the first week. Meta usually takes two to four weeks of learning before it settles. Either way, expect the first month to be about finding what works and the following months to be about scaling it.

What if it doesn’t work?

Then we stop. We’d rather tell you in month two that your market is too expensive per click than take a fee for a year. Month to month after the first three.
