Campaign strategy
Who to reach, where, with what offer, and what a result should cost. Agreed before we spend.
Creative and copy
We write the ads and direct the visuals. Real photos and short phone video of your actual business, shaped so they stop the scroll.
Audiences and retargeting
Suburb-level targeting, lookalikes of your best customers, and follow-up ads for people who visited your site and didn’t buy.
Weekly optimisation
We test creative, audiences and placements every week, kill what’s not working and put budget behind what is.
A one-page monthly report
Reach, enquiries or sales, cost per result, what we learned and what’s next.
Who it suits
Meta is for businesses people discover, not businesses people search for.
Great fit
- Cafés, restaurants, bars, venues
- Retail brands and products with a story or a look
- Accommodation, tours and local tourism
- Courses, memberships, events, gyms
- Anyone launching something new in a specific area
Think twice
- Urgent services people search for: start with Google
- Businesses with no photos and no time to get them
- Very niche B2B with a tiny audience
- Anyone expecting results in week one
How the fee works
Same simple structure as Google Ads.
A management fee you know before you start. Ad spend goes straight to Meta from an account you own.
- A flat monthly fee for most local businesses and launches; a share of spend for larger brand and e-commerce accounts. In writing first.
- Ad spend is separate, paid directly to Meta from your own account, never marked up.
- Three months to start, then month to month.
- Video editing beyond phone footage is quoted separately if you want it.
Fees exclude GST.
Straight answers
Meta Ads questions, answered.
How much do Facebook and Instagram ads cost in NZ?
Most small businesses start at $800–$2,000 a month in ad spend, plus a flat management fee agreed in writing. Meta charges per thousand views or per click depending on the goal; costs vary a lot by audience and creative, which is why the first month is about testing.
Do I need good photos and video?
Yes, on Meta the creative is the campaign. We’ll write the ads and help you capture real photos and short video on your phone. Real beats stock every time; nobody wants to see a model pretending to be your barista.
Facebook or Instagram?
Both, usually, from the same campaign. Meta decides where each ad performs best. We’ll skew it if your audience is clearly one or the other (Instagram for a 25-year-old buying skincare, Facebook for a 55-year-old booking a bach).
How is this different from posting on my page?
Posting reaches the people who already follow you, which on Facebook is a small fraction even of them. Ads reach the people you choose, by suburb, age, interest and behaviour, whether they’ve heard of you or not.
Can you retarget my website visitors?
Yes. We install the tracking so people who visited your site or added to cart see a follow-up ad. It’s the cheapest, highest-return campaign most businesses never run.
Is there a contract?
Three months to start, then month to month. The ad account and audiences are yours.
